Stop Letting the Insurance Company Decide What Your Vehicle Is Worth.
Total Loss. Diminished Value. Appraisal Clause Disputes.
We represent vehicle owners when insurance companies underpay.
Nexus Claim Services represents vehicle owners in valuation-related insurance disputes. Specializing in Total losses, diminished value, and appraisal clauses.
Our focus is narrow by design:
-
Total loss ACV disputes
-
Diminished value claims
-
Appraisal clause representation
We do not operate as a general claims processor.
We engage when valuation accuracy becomes the issue.
Nexus Claim Services is led by Mitch Buhr, an experienced automotive appraiser and Texas-licensed adjuster and public adjuster with extensive experience in vehicle valuation and collision repair. Nexus provides specialized valuation and appraisal services based on the type of assignment and applicable law.
Insurance companies use structured systems to determine value.
We use structured systems to evaluate whether those numbers are defensible.
Experience Behind the Analysis
Nexus Claim Services is led by Mitch Buhr, an automotive claims and valuation professional with more than 30 years of industry experience. His background includes approximately 26 years in collision repair operations, including 15 years as a refinishing technician, along with experience in estimating, management, insurance estimating, vehicle appraisal, and claim valuation.
That hands-on background provides a practical understanding of how vehicles are repaired, how repair decisions affect value, and how insurance estimates and valuation reports should be evaluated.
Mitch has completed more than 100 I-CAR training courses and holds Texas adjuster and public adjuster licenses. Depending on the assignment, Nexus may serve in different professional capacities, including independent appraiser, public adjuster where legally applicable, diminished value consultant, total loss valuation consultant, or insurance appraisal umpire.
Nexus applies documented market research, vehicle-specific analysis, and professional judgment to valuation disputes rather than relying on a single automated formula or unsupported assumption.
